Building businesses.Backing founders.Shaping culture.

I work with ambitious people and organizations at moments when what comes next still needs to be defined.

01A Point of View

What I Believe

Before markets move, beliefs move.

Explore my ideas
i

Strategy is not a plan.Brand is not a logo.Marketing is not a toolkit.

At their best, they are ways of making choices, creating meaning and influencing what people believe, expect and eventually do.

ii
  1. Businesses make choices.
  2. Brands turn those choices into signals.
  3. Culture determines which signals people adopt, reject or carry forward.
iii

That is why I’m interested in what happens before the visible result:

  • the decision before the campaign,
  • the belief before the behaviour,
  • the idea before the market moves.

Because the most consequential work rarely starts with

What should we do?

It starts with

What are we really trying to change?

02In Practice

Thinking Meets Reality

Ideas are only interesting when they survive reality.

My work has taken me into companies, startups, boardrooms, institutions and industry organizations.

Different contexts.Different roles.Usually the same situation:something has the potential to become more than what it is today.

Three of those journeys have become particularly important

A leading agency for defining moments.

I founded Zone in 2017.

Zone is a Brand & Strategy Agency working with national leaders, institutions, ambitious local companies and international brands.

Today, we increasingly enter when the question is no longer simply

How should we communicate?

What should we become?

  • Strategy
  • Positioning
  • Brand
  • Transformation
  • Corporate culture
  • Change

Over the years, our work has involved organizations including Algérie Télécom, Société Générale Algérie, Philip Morris International, Yalidine, Palmary, Volz and Nouris Elbahr.

Discover Volz

Backing Algeria’s #1 travel-tech platform on its path to becoming the country’s first unicorn.

Volz began as a small OTA outside the capital.

Today, it has become Algeria’s number-one ticketing platform across categories and destinations — and one of the country’s most ambitious technology companies.

That trajectory is one of the reasons I chose to invest. But what interests me most is what sits behind the growth.

Travel should feel empowering. Instead, the industry has progressively surrounded travelers with complexity, intermediaries and systems they rarely understand.

And behavioural change is already visible. Today, more than half of Volz transactions are paid digitally — a significant signal in a market where trust remains one of the largest barriers to online commerce.

My involvement goes beyond capital. I contribute at board level across strategy, brand, growth and long-term direction. Because some ideas deserve more than advice.

Volz is built around a different conviction

Another intermediary in the journey.

Give power back to the traveler.

They deserve to be backed.

Discover GAAN

Building Algeria’s leading tech organization.

We started the GAAN adventure in the middle of COVID, before 2020.

Today, it has grown into Algeria’s leading organization representing technology and digital companies, bringing together more than 1,500 company members.

My involvement has evolved with it: from helping build the organization, to serving on its Board, to becoming Vice President.

But the purpose remains larger than the organization itself. Strong technology ecosystems need more than successful companies.

They need places where businesses can organize. Where industries can articulate shared challenges. Where market actors and institutions can meet. Where knowledge can be produced. And where collective ambition can become collective action.

Through initiatives such as Rakmana, GLink, industry studies, white papers, professional programs and institutional partnerships, GAAN is helping build that infrastructure for Algeria’s digital economy.

Because sometimes the most important thing you can build isn’t another company.

It’s the ecosystem in which better companies can emerge.

03Ideas

Notes · Questions · Frameworks

I write to find out what I actually think.

Writing has always been part of the work. Not because the world needs more content. Because ideas become much harder to hide behind once you put them into words.

Writing forces precision. It exposes contradictions. It turns intuition into something that can be examined, challenged and improved.

Most of the questions I keep returning to live somewhere between strategy, marketing, business, brands, culture and human behaviour.

Some came from client work. Some from classrooms. Some from conversations. Some from a book I started writing and never finished.

The manuscript stopped. The questions didn’t.

Lecturing · Masterclasses · Conferences

From classrooms to boardrooms.

Lecturing has been part of my professional life for years. And I value it for a simple reason:

You understand an idea differently once you have to teach it.

Over the years, I have lectured and trained thousands of professionals across:

Where

  • public universities
  • leading private business schools
  • MBA programs
  • executive education
  • corporate seminars
  • and professional institutions

Who

  • Students beginning their careers.
  • Experienced marketers.
  • Entrepreneurs.
  • Managers.
  • MBA participants.
  • Senior executives.

Different audiences require different conversations. But the objective remains the same:not to give people another collection of formulas, but to give them better frameworks for thinking.

My lectures, seminars and masterclasses have covered areas including

  • Strategy
  • Brand & Marketing
  • Consumer Behaviour & Culture
  • Digital Transformation
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Technology & the Digital Economy

I also contribute to conferences, panels and industry forums.

I’m less interested in leaving a room inspired than in leaving it with:

an idea you’re still thinking about the next morning.

05Selected Work

Strategy, made real.

A few moments that mattered.

Not every client project deserves a case study. The ones that interest me most usually begin with a question larger than communication.

01case cover — Yalidine

Yalidine

Strategy · Brand · Marketing · Transformation

Helping shape the brand of one of the companies powering Algeria’s e-commerce economy.

As Yalidine became increasingly embedded in everyday commerce, the question became larger than campaigns:

How does an operationally important company become a culturally relevant national brand?

The work extended across strategy, brand governance, communication, digital, influence, PR and customer-facing initiatives.

Palmary

Corporate Brand · Culture · Employer Brand

Turning corporate values into something people can actually live.

Corporate values are easy to write.Building a culture that people recognize themselves in is much harder.

The work began with an intensive process involving around 80 people, designed to turn abstract values into a shared system of meaning across a growing organization.

The central question:

How do values move from the presentation into everyday behaviour?

Institutional Strategy · Narrative

Taking Algeria’s national telecom story onto a continental stage.

The challenge was not simply to communicate the role of Algeria’s national telecommunications operator. It was to expand the frame.

To place Algérie Télécom inside a broader conversation about:

Africa.Infrastructure.Connectivity.Technology.Digital sovereignty.And the continent’s next digital chapter.

Nouris Elbahr

Brand · Corporate Communication · Launch

Building the brand behind a historic first in Algerian maritime transport.

For decades, maritime passenger transport in Algeria had been associated with a single public operator.

Nouris Elbahr introduced something new:a private Algerian maritime transport operator.

The challenge was therefore larger than launching another brand. It was about creating trust around something new, giving an emerging company a credible identity and turning a historical industry challenge into a source of ambition and national pride.

Start a Conversation

Some of the best things I’ve built started with a conversation.

I’m interested in ambitious people, difficult questions and things that are still becoming.

If you’re

  • building a company,
  • rethinking a brand,
  • navigating a consequential transition,
  • building an ecosystem,
  • or simply developing an idea worth challenging,

we should probably talk.
